Please read these terms carefully before using Beep Pacer. They explain the rules for using the app and the limits of our responsibility.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Beep Pacer (“the app”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent that such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
4. Safety
Beep Pacer is an audio training aid, not a medical device, and it does not provide medical or professional fitness advice. Because it is designed to be used eyes-free, you remain fully responsible for your own safety: stay aware of traffic, other people, and your surroundings at all times, and never compromise your safety to follow a pace cue. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise or training program.
5. Accuracy and “as is” basis
The app relies on your device’s GPS and sensors. Pace, speed, and distance are estimates and may be inaccurate due to GPS conditions, device hardware, weather, or your surroundings. The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agustin Prats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the app.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
